Haryana Power DISCOMs have introduced the facility of trust reading for consumers

Chandigarh: Haryana Power DISCOMs (Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam) have introduced the facility of trust reading for consumers. In case of meter readings being wrong in electricity bill, consumers can get the bill fixed by providing correct meter reading online.

Giving this information, a spokesperson of the DISCOMs said that the facility is for consumers in domestic, non-domestic and LT industrial categories (maximum load up to 20 kW). For this facility, the consumers will have to visit the Nigam's websitewww.uhbvn.org.inorwww.dhbvn.org.in. All information about the use of this facility is also available on the websites of the DISCOMs.

He further informed that initially this facility is being started in 42 cities of the state. Under UHBVN Panchkula, Karnal, Panipat, Sonipat, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Kaithal, Ambala City, Ambala Cantt, Yamunanagar, Shahbad, Bahadurgarh, Kalka, Pinjore, Cheeka, Guhana, Gharonda, Pehwa, Thanesar, Ganaur and Samalkha is selected for this facility. Under DHBVN Gurugram, Faridabad, Fatehabad, Jind, Sirsa, Hisar, Rewari, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Palwal, Dabwali, Barwala, Ellenabad, Tohana, Hansi, Narwana, Narnaul, Hodal, Bawani Kheda, Siwani and Loharu is also selected for facilty.

Due to the lockdown in the last two months, many consumers got electricity bills on average basis. Those consumers will also be able to use this facility to revise their bills according to the actual reading.
