HP Corona update- 1 more positive from Una; total 39

Himachal: Out of the 97 samples tested at Tanda in the morning lot , 1 more person has been found positive. The fresh case has emerged from Una district of the state, raising the toll here to 22 positive cases, confirmed Rakesh Prajapati, Deputy Commissioner of Kangra. The new case has been reported from a village near Amb.

With this fresh case the total number of positive cases reported in the state have grown to 39. The total active cases now from Una are 16. State wide total active cases are 22. Yesterday night 3 fresh cases were reported. One from Chamba and two from Hamirpur.

The supply of essential items was also terminated in the town.

The town appeared deserted and barren after imposition of prohibition by the district administration today. The district administration imposed strict lock down measures and suspended the relaxation period from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. the banking services and and even door to door supply of essential items was discontinued. The impulsive orders of the administration had gripped the life in fear in the town. The supply of milk was also discontinues leaving parents of young kids in fix.

Harikesh Meena Deputy Commissioner said that the supply of milk would resume from tomorrow as all milk agencies were issued permits for the supply of milk and milk products.
