Chandigarh: In wake of COVID-19 throughout the world and to counter any emergency situation in the City, the Chandigarh Police is fully committed to extend full cooperation and to remain on toe 24 X 7. Further keeping in view the lockdown / impose of curfew announcement in the city, all the 38 outer border nakas were made operational on round the clock basis, wherein vehicles/persons, as per govt instructions/guidelines, are being allowed to enter in the city. Moreover, 38 Infrared thermometers have already been deployed at all 38 outer barrier / nakas. Further, all persons entering into the city from other neighboring states are being screened through these thermometers. The police personnel deployed at these outer naka barriers have also been provided with a sufficient number of masks, gloves and sanitizers to take precautions while discharging their duty. 15 outer nakas / barriers have been identified that these routes will be permanently closed till further orders. No one shall be allowed to even cross these nakas / barriers on foot. SSP/ Mohali, DCP/Panchkula has been informed of traffic diversions, etc. The detail of these 15 outer border naka is
